James Dormady Joins WPM Real Estate Management as
Director of Operations of Maintenance and Construction Services
April 30, 2019 (Owings Mills, MD) – WPM Real Estate Management has appointed James Dormady as Director of Operations for its Maintenance and Construction Services division. This new role will support ongoing growth and create greater operational efficiencies, strengthening WPM’s commitment to providing exceptional service and value to its clients.

James Dormady brings to WPM 28 years of experience in the property management sector, most recently leading the maintenance operations for over 19,000 units across 68 properties. He has directly overseen development and completion of more than $18 million in capital projects. In addition, he has managed capital needs assessments, and annual maintenance audits for properties within the New England and Mid-Atlantic regions. He has also been responsible for retail build-out construction projects for multiple national companies, including Ruth’s Chris Steak House and Kiddie Academy.
Dormady holds multiple industry certifications, including Certified Apartment Maintenance Technician (CAMT), EPA CFC Universal Certification, EPA Lead Safe Certified Renovator Certification, Maryland Supervisor Lead Paint Maintenance & Repainting Accreditation, Asbestos Inspector & Management Planner Certification, Asbestos O&M Worker Certification, Certified Pool Operator, and OSHA 10 Certification. He has been an instructor for the Maryland Multi Housing Association (MMHA) Certified Apartment Maintenance Technician & Certified Apartment Manager programs and has served as Chair for the MMHA’s Maintenance Mania Competition. Nationally, he has served as a committee member for the National Apartment Association Education Institute CAMT Modification and Rewrite and the Operations Committee.
